Ophthalmology Update is an International Scientific Journal, being published on quarterly basis from Islamabad, Pakistan. It is an official journal of Peshawar Medical College and is affiliated with the Rawalpindi Medical University as well as Riphah International University, Islamabad. The journal is approved and indexed by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Islamabad, under OJS system, EBSCO (USA) and Department of National Libraries, Government of Pakistan, ISSN (1993-2863) as an international journal of Health Sciences. It is also registered under Press & Publication Ordinance’98 vide No: 3405/2/63 and ABC certified.
It is the only journal in Pakistan which is regularly published well in time, under the guidance of a highly experienced Board of Editors, who are seniors in the profession with long experience of journalism as medical teachers. The journal is circulated freely to the participants at various medical conferences being held from time to time. The Journal publishes original research papers, articles, reviews, case reports, news & views and reports of latest scientific developments in the field of Medicine around the world. It is a peer-reviewed journal. Moreover, It is the policy of our journal to especially guide and encourage the young doctors to step into the field of research.
